Restorative Yoga provides us the opportunity to slow down and develop a greater sense of balance and health. With the use of the floor, wall, and props such as, bolsters, blankets and blocks, you will begin the practice of surrendering into deep relaxation and restoration. Be prepared to shed tension and stress, quiet mental chatter and become unstuck. Take time to reconnect to your inner self and enjoy all the benefits of a calming restorative practice with essential oils. 

You will be led through 60 minutes of restorative postures as you soften into your body. Allow yourself to cultivate a sweet surrender as you release into the deepest layers of your body (joints, connective tissues and ligaments). A perfect way to wind down your day.

Mindful Moments is a time for us to center ourselves. A time to refill our cup, our heart and our soul in a warm, tranquil and Zen-filled space.

Our lives are filled with so many things that we need to do and then we tend to pack more onto that.  We have our work, school, our family's and friend's needs that are important to us...  There's cleaning, buying groceries and fixing things that need to get done and then add sports and activities on top of that. We find ourselves constantly running in every direction every waking moment of the day. This doesn't just affect us physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

When our world around us is chaotic, our inner self is also in a whirlwind state. We feel maxed out and we aren't able to take the time that we need to just sit, even if its only for 5 minutes, closing our eyes, taking a breath, resting and being grateful.

Mindful Moments With Nick (Meditation)

Yin Yoga is a practice that focuses on stretching the connective tissue in order to lengthen them + help release built up tension. It evolved out of a practice called “taoist yoga” which incorporated elements of taoist philosophy into yoga. The name “yin” yoga comes from yin/yang philosophy which draws attention to the balance between opposing forces.

More energetic styles of yoga like vinyasa yoga would be considered “yang” while yin yoga postures are meant to balance these energetic practices with calm, deep stretches. Poses are held anywhere from 2 to 7 minutes and work with the energy meridians in your body to help increase flexibility, improve joint mobility, and release trauma in the body.
